External cover on your phone?
If you are going to put an external protective cover on your {PhoneName}, then just measure the external dimensions of the phone in the cover and compare it to the internal dimensions of the other Nutshell vertical belt cases or horizontal belt cases.
Nutshell Belt Cases are designed to allow for small differences in the sizes of smartphones and any additional cases or covers. They are like leather envelopes - push the sides together… and the width narrows as the depth i-n-c-r-e-a-s-e-s.
The phone height can be +/- 0.4" / 10mm and the width and depth of the belt case combine to accommodate the width and depth of the device. If the cover has a rubbery finish then allow a little bit extra as it will tend to grab a bit.
Remember, if you choose the wrong Nutshell, we will happily swap it for you.
We recommend you always holster your phone with the screen facing your hip; that way the screen always has the maximum protection.

"I thought I paid way too much for my first pouch but decided that it looked like it was the best one and would protect my phone. I cycled through the phone I purchased it for and the next phone fit into the same pouch. Great, I didn't have to buy a new one. OK, this is a great product so I bought it again and it held up through some really rough times including a fire where I got pretty badly burned and it protected my phone. Fast forward to another new phone and the old pouch will not fit the new phone. Considering how well it protects the phone, it is undoubtedly the best pouch on the market and gives the best value even though it is expensive. No, I never paid too much (it just seemed that way the first time), it has always been the best value and this is pouch number three!"
